I am a Cloud Engineer based in Dakar, with experience operating mission-critical fintech systems handling hundreds of thousands of transactions daily.

I started in IT support and evolved into cloud and DevSecOps, focusing on building secure, automated and resilient infrastructures.

Today, I work with technologies like AWS, Terraform and Python to design systems that are scalable, reliable and ready for production environments.

My goal is to become a Cloud Security expert and contribute to high-impact international projects.

Mobile Money Reliability Platform

Problem

15+ Mobile Money APIs across MTN, Orange, Moov, Wave were being monitored reactively. MTTR was 2h+, and partner SLA breaches were costing the business reputational and contractual damage.

Solution

Built a Python observability suite polling each API's GetStatus / UpdateStatus endpoints, indexing into Elasticsearch, dashboarding in Grafana. Layered EventBridge-driven alert routing onto Slack & PagerDuty with severity-aware runbooks.

Network Hardening & Compliance

Problem

Flat network, perimeter-only security, frequent low-severity intrusions, no formal IT security policy. Audit pressure was growing alongside ISO 27001 ambitions.

Solution

Designed a segmented network with dedicated DMZ, deployed pfSense firewall pairs and Snort IDS/IPS at chokepoints, rolled out OpenVPN for remote access, automated patching across Linux + Windows fleets, authored the IT security policy aligned with ISO 27001 controls.

AWS-Hosted Odoo for Enterprise

Problem

Banking & fintech clients needed an Odoo ERP that meets their availability + compliance requirements, but on-prem hosting was unaffordable and lacked the operational guarantees they wanted.

Solution

Designed a multi-AZ AWS architecture: ALB → ECS Fargate (Odoo workers) → Aurora PostgreSQL Multi-AZ → S3 for filestore + EFS for shared assets, all wrapped in Terraform, with KMS encryption, IAM least-privilege, automated AWS Backup, and CloudWatch + X-Ray observability. CI/CD via GitHub Actions.
